It has been eight hundred years since The Great Drought began. Legend has it that the Jadans angered the Great Crier, who took the cold away from the land as punishment - reducing the world to fire and ash. The Khat became Nobles and enslaved all Jadans. But a prophecy telling of freedom and ice persists.

That prophecy has come to pass. Micah, Shilah and Cam set fire to their oppressors in a bid to bring relief to their burning-hot world and restore balance to the seasons as well as to society.
